“Our guide Romero was excellent, knowledgeable and was sensitive to everyone’s comfort and safety. We were. Picked up on time and we stopped at Cabo d Girio skywalk it was fantastic. We then the drive through the local streets which were amazing enough room for one car although it was two way traffic. We couldn’t swim in the pool at Porto Moniz due to the sea being too rough. We stopped for a shorter break and added an extra stop. We went to Fanal and the mist maid it more mysterious and beautiful. We stopped at Jungle Rain restaurant value and quality of food was excellent. Overall a fantastic day…”

“An enjoyable half day on 4x4 trip, felt safe in the land-rover we were in and the driver was very good and friendly. Drove to 1300 feet in moundains on this beautiful island. Unfortunately the maderia wine /tasting was closed, so that was bad planning, and we were interested in that part of the tour. The driver took us to small town nearby, but very little there. Still enjoyable worth the money.”

Our lunch and pincha drinks were delicious (extra cost). We got to see various microclimates around the island. We weren’t rushed at all and covered lots of territory. If you have one trip when visiting, this is it!”

The trip ended up at the vineyard trip which gave the opportunity to see the grapes being grown, learn about the wine making process then finish off with the best tasting session I have experienced.
