We didn't go at 6 am even though most of reviews here recommend it, but it wasn't very crowded (I guess partially due to weather and time of year) Overall, a lovely experience which we will recommend to others.”

“Really lovely walk, although it doesn’t take anywhere near as long as the time allowed. To walk Risco/25 Fontes was just under 2 hours (with stops) and another 40 mins from the cafe to pick-up. That said, the cafe is lovely so we happily wasted a few hours here. To reach the pick-up stop from the cafe, follow the steps for the outside WC then signs for Calheta ER211. The tunnel is certainly worth doing and I can’t fault the driver - everything was on time and ran smoothly.”
